What You’ll Do:
- Host a live, multi-hour talk show that informs, entertains, and connects
- Lead conversations on local and national topics that matter to your audience
- Conduct engaging interviews with newsmakers, community leaders, and interesting guests
- Take calls and create real, meaningful interaction with listeners
- Operate the control board and manage technical aspects of the broadcast
- Create daily show prep that keeps your content fresh, relevant, and compelling
- Voice commercials, promos, and station imaging
- Represent the station at remote broadcasts and community events
- Bring your personality to life on social media and digital platforms
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong, confident on-air presence
- Someone who is curious, informed, and plugged into current events
- Quick-thinking and comfortable handling live, unscripted moments
- Self-motivated and organized—you take ownership of your show
- Ability to connect with a broad audience and build listener loyalty
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of broadcasting or on-air experience (talk format preferred)
- Experience operating a broadcast control board, automation playout software and other related equipment.
- Familiarity with industry tools and software, including:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software
- Social media platforms and digital content tools
- Ability to consistently prepare, organize, and execute a daily show
- Availability for a regular weekday schedule, with occasional events and remote broadcasts
